Due to current HSA/FSA regulations, recurring subscriptions cannot be billed directly to your HSA or FSA debit card. However, one-time purchases are eligible and can be made using your HSA/FSA card at checkout.
At checkout, select Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA as your payment option. You will be prompted to complete a brief telehealth consult to confirm your eligibility to pay with HSA/FSA. From there, enter your HSA or FSA debit card details and complete your checkout as usual.
A qualified FSA (Flexible Spending Account) or HSA (Health Savings Account) customer is anyone with an active FSA or HSA, which are special savings accounts that allow you to use pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible healthcare expenses.
Refunds will be issued back to your FSA/HSA card. If you have further questions, contact Flex Health support or your plan administrator.
A Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN) is a document written by a healthcare provider that explains why a specific medical treatment is necessary for a patient's health. This is only required to get reimbursed for HSA/FSA expenses that are not clearly defined as eligible under the IRS guidelines. If you don't have a letter, you can fill out a short eligibility form at checkout. If you qualify, Flex will send the Letter of Medical Necessity to you via email.
Most are, but some specialty supplements (such as our pre+postnatal) or bundles that include non-prenatal products may not qualify without a letter of medical necessity. You can shop our HSA/FSA Eligible Collection or look for products that are tagged as "HSA/FSA Eligible".
Our Mama Bird Postnatal Bundle, Mineral Complex, Probiotics,Postnatal Multi+, Women's Multi+, and Men's Multi+ may be eligible if deemed medically necessary to treat a specific condition.
